The SFChiapas Promoters of Justice are young and old, rich and poor. They are committed to movements as diverse as immigrant rights and anti-globalization, union and workplace organizing, anti-war and anti-imperialist movements, bio-diesel technology and solar power, Mumia al Jamal defense work, popular art and theatre, organic and sustainable agriculture; public and bilingual education reform, popular research and publishing; liberation theology; human and civil rights; and many other struggles.
The Promoters of Justice of Schools for Chiapas also work to support the efforts of the autonomous, Mayan communities of Chiapas in their struggle for dignity, democracy, and justice.
